At the left is the final version on the front cover. Let me share with you where the idea for the cover came from. Several years ago I was visiting my daughter and son-in-law, CJ, in Fuquay-Varina, NC. CJ is an accomplished artist and is currently employed as a graphic artist. He showed me several paintings he had completed and I fell in love with the depiction of the "falling man". Being the generous man that he is, he said, "Here, take it. It's yours." Subsequently, I hung it in my home office and later contemplated using it as the cover for my last book, Nowhere to Go.

Tentative entitled, "Losing the Farm, A Civil War Epic" is about an eleven-year old survivor of a Union army attack on his homestead near New Berne, North Carolina. He has no place to rest his head but finds himself involved with a rag-tag confederate company. This book is in the beginning stages, but will be historically accurate and fictionally exciting for the whole family.
